    Hello,
I am buying a dozen rhode island reds and a dozen barred rock fertilized eggs for my incubator. They are 1.50 an egg. does this sound like a good price?
    Thanks,
    Tanya

I say that is ok. I have paid more!

You picking them up or getting them shipped?

I think thats a little high. They are popular birds and lots of people have them and offer eggs. I would think you could get them more reasonably right here at BYC.

I think $1.50 shipped per egg is about average price. If you are not including shipping I think that's pretty high.

I felt like maybe it was a bit high, but I wanted them today. (they were just down the road so I went for it!) These are breeds my husband enjoyed when he was a kid. [IMG]
