Hello, I am wondering if the privet berries are toxic for chicken. I have a tree right above my chicken coop and all the berries have fallen in the chicken coop. My baby chicks are not outside yet. Does anyone know ?

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join to our flock. The idea that Privet berries are poisonous to chickens is a myth. Chickens frequently eat them with no harmful side effects so put your mind at ease. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your chicks.
