Does anyone know what's going on at the Privett Hachery? They supply two of the feed stores in Southen Utah with chicks and neither one has received them yet. Should I be concerned?

    Thanks

I would call them and find out. But I think they may hold off on shipping until the weather in your area is right for shipping. I have dealt with Privett hatchery as they are right here in New Mexico. They are very accommodating, easy to talk to and their birds have always been of good quality.

Good luck with your new babies and enjoy BYC!

Could you call and ask them (Privet?) From time to time hatcheries suffer the same - poor hatches as the backyard chickeners do. Nature tends to have it's way.
