Bought Fast Track Liquid Dispersible because I have to give my chickens Tylan 50 (nasty nasty bug going through the flock).

Does anyone know the dose PER CHICKEN or at least for less than 1000 chickens?

The dose is 0.35oz per 1000 chickens. Per my math that equals about 0.075 oz or 0.4mL for my size flock.

DOes this sound about right to anyone?

Personally I would wait to give any supplements until after the course of antibiotics is finished, sometimes mineral/calcium, etc. can bind with certain medications making them less effective. I'm not sure if that's the case with Tylosin, but just in case....

Explain your math? (it might help if you told how many chickens you have)

If the dose for the Probiotic is .35oz per 1000 chickens, then for 1 chicken that would be
.00035oz per chicken. Converting that to ml it would be .01ml per chicken.
The only thing I DON"T see on the spec sheet for this product would be how much water it is to be put in??? https://www.conklin.com/mwdownloads/download/link/id/508/

Maybe @casportpony or @Eggcessive can check both our math problems:)

Not a math whiz here. An ounce roughly equals 28 grams, so round off to 30 grams. A 1/3 of an ounce is roughly 10 grams. It would be close to 1/100th of a gram, so probably too minute to measure.

I have used Purina Pro Plan probiotics for my little dog, 1 packet daily. There are some for chickens online—Grow2Max that might be easier to dose.

I usually give a teaspoonful or less of plain yogurt (Chobani or Fage Greek yogurt) for probiotics.
