Processing Pork

Like killing the pig and processing it.. or just cutting up the meat. ? ill look around online and see what i find.

We butchered a half feral pig, and we hug her up like a deer and did it like that.
 
I don't have any info for you, but I'd like to learn to do our own also.

Does anyone here want to process their pork ? I've hear horror stores about butchers. Don't know if I should believe it..just hear ( from a butcher that it's not that clean.)
 
hey... we kill, gut and hang,

Then if we want to we will use a Sawzall to cut thru the bones and make roasts, ribs, and backstrap. Depending on what your looking for,

some times we just kill gut, hang and haul to the local butcher, HE will make it all into sausage for .37 / pound.

cheaper if you de bone it first.

nothing finer than feral piggy.

IF your worried about a "BAD" butcher, call the local hunt clubs, ask them for a referal. Good Butchers are out their.
