I have 6 2 week old production reds and 5 have tail feathers and almost fully developed wing feathers whereas one has just little pin feathers on the tail and fuzzy "shoulders". I know that it's too early to tell for sure yet but I was told pullets get their tails earlier and cockerels are later. Is there a chance I have 1 male and 5 females or is it the other way around?

These 2 are the ones in question. The first one looks like the others as far as feathering but is the first one to my hand when i have food. Lets call it "Blondie".[IMG]
The next one seems to almost stand guard of all of the others and was very slow to feather(still not covered as much as the rest and has a shorter upcocked tail). I am pretty sure this one is a male.[IMG]

Anything? They are abut 3 1/2 weeks old or so.
