Promoting Cold Weather Use of Dust Bathing Area By Shining a Heat Lamp on It

My penned birds dust bath very little on cold days during winter. I placed a heat lamp so as to heat the dust bathing pan resulting in a major increase in its use.

Unfortunately it freezes quite hard here, but that's a great idea for a bit warmer area.
