I hunted Pronghorn for a couple of decades when I lived in Northern Colorado. Bagged a lot of 'em.

On my first Pronghorn hunt, I was so "flabbergasted" by what the Pronghorn did...that I didn't shoot...a fairly easy shot. They came over a rise running "full-out" and heading my way (more or less). I was standing along a barbed-wire fence line and I figured that, like deer, they would either jump OVER the fence...OR...crawl UNDER it. So, I held my shot...waiting for them to reach the fence.
When they reached the fence..they didn't slow down at all...and they didn't go OVER OR UNDER the fence !!!
They just went between the strands of fence as though it wasn't even there !!!
I was so surprised that I didn't even shoot at them !!! [IMG]
    Ha-Ha !!!

THAT was a learning experience. [IMG]
