Hello! I am doing a performance, and for one of the parts, I am a Native American orphan at her parent's grave. I am in charge of the set, so I was wondering if they even had graves, and if they did not, what did they have, and if they did, how to make a cheap, realistic looking grave prop. Thanks!

How about the elevated platforms some tribes used.

Thanks! Would the Tainos have used those?

Um, of course I know how to use Google! How do you think I found this site? I was just wondering if their were any historians or anything on here that might know more than I could find on Google. And yes, I know that this is a site about chickens, but it never hurts to try.

Sounds like a pretty cool performance, why have they chosen the Tainos? out of curiosity

I have a hard time with this prop though, I am not sure they had "graves" but I am sure you can google their customs on the matter!

Thank you so much! I chose the Tainos because I am doing a project n the Columbian Exchange, and they are the ones that Columbus first met.
