proper way to put eggs in carton

    It's because of the air sack or pocket that is in the egg is at the rounded end. So you keep this end up and it helps[​IMG] the egg retain it's moisture, keeps the yolk more in the center of the white and also reduces breakage of the point which is where the white or the liquid insides of the egg would be. you don't want to place an egg with the air pocket down as you would be asking for a new space to form in the pointy end.
