Ok.

I just ordered 50 straight run Wh. MT hubbards...

I also ordered layers.. and was told I can give my pullets broiler food.. is that a good idea?

Next I'm looking at the Dumor 24% food. How long do I feed this and when do I drop the percent of protein and to what %.

Also how do I finish the bird out for the best tender, juicy chicken I can get.

And last.. At what age do they get to leave for eating..

Kassy, just found this post. I make a run to Lapeer every few weeks for the best and cheapest poultry feed in our area. I'll PM you Howard's info. He grinds it fresh every few days. I started all my birds on his grower ration. At 10 weeks I bought the layer ration, and mixed the two together 50/50. I have slowly started to decrease the amount of grower ration and by 16 weeks will be at 100% layer ration.

The White Mountain Hubbards will be ready to butcher at 7-8 weeks depending on how you feed them. Mine will be out on pasture as soon as they are fully feathered.
