Hello. I have never heard of Vietnam Protein. What is in it? Is it for poultry?
While it does take protein to make eggs, it also takes calcium and other nutrients. How old is your chicken? Is there anything causing her to be stressed? What season is it now where you live?

Sorry for all the questions, but it might help to determine what is delaying your hen's egg production.

Hello again. It's so amazing to have people with chickens from all over the world use this forum.

I would try to be patient with your hen. It may take her up to another two weeks following the stress of moving. It may also take extra time for your rooster to begin acting normally.

Although chickens need protein, giving them a lot of extra protein won't cause them to lay any faster following a stressful event.

The other thing is that fat does not mean that a bird is healthy.

What else are you feeding them? Does she have a feed with calcium in it or are you providing an extra source of calcium? This is important for the production of shells and for the muscles that send the egg out.

You will have to make sure also that they have water all the time.

My apologies if you already knew some of this.

An egg is 90% water. Make sure she has plenty of clean, fresh water at all times.
    Good Luck.

Is it possible the hen is laying eggs somewhere else, like hiding them? Do you have nest boxes or a spot with relative privacy and soft bedding?
