Hello my fowl friends. I am so egg cited to being a new chicken owner. I started out just wanting fresh eggs, who knew chickens were so much fun! We have 6 baby reds, because that's all we could find. Any ideas on how I can get my hands on a few Wyandots? And maybe a few Americaunas?

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Congratulations on your new chicks! The best place to find local birds is probably your state thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread and also the BYC Buy-Sell-Trade forum, you could also post a Want ad after you have 20 posts https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade If you are willing to ship, most of the big hatcheries will carry Wyandottes in various colors and at least Easter Eggers.
Another great place to check out is the Learning Center, all kinds of good articles on all aspects of poultry keeping https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Welcome to BYC!

Congrats on the new chicks! Kelsie has left you with some great links to follow. Hopefully you can find the other breeds you seek. Wyandottes are wonderful birds to keep. Welcome to our flock!
