*Proud Of The Girls Eggs!*

I don't have any issues with eating the eggs my chickens have produced. Well maybe not the first two, but only because I didn't find them right away. The silly girl chose to not lay in the spots I'd picked and I had trouble finding the spot she picked. Since it's around 30+ degrees celcius right now (late spring in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, is hot.), I don't trust that they will still be ok. The one I made her lay in the pen today however, will be very yummy I'm sure.

Although I've been raised on store bought eggs all my life, I think it's silly to not eat the ones my girls produce. My girls get a better diet than what the hens that produce the store bought eggs get, I'm sure. Besides, where do people think eggs came from before we had them in stores?
