We bought six chicks yesterday at our local feed store. Of course, they are the cutest things we've ever seen. They're happily playing in their brooder and they are FUNNY! If one drinks...they all drink...if one eats...they all have a nibble or two...if one finds a fascinating dust speck on the wall of the brooder and pecks at it, the ALL check it out and give it a peck. They're a riot!
I got three Easter Eggers and the other three are completely black except for one that has a yellow spot on the top of its head. I'm not sure what kind they are because I was so excited when I got them and there were so many to choose from! I'll have to wait until they grow a bit to see what kind those three are and if the one with the yellow spot is a sex link and ends up being a roo!
