I picked up my 10 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Chicks on the 17th of March & EVERY DAY @ least 1 chick was DEAD!!! I thought maybe they were sick or something, but my Husband watched them & noticed 1 Chick was VERY aggressive & would pounce on the other Chicks until they were DEAD!!!! Then the aggressive Chick would sit on the dead Chick. My Hubby said that it seemed it wanted a SOFT PLACE TO SLEEP!!! I took that little booger out & have NOT lost a Chick since!!!! Including the "Bad Chick" I have only 3 BLRW's left. Hope it grows out of this behavior!!! Anyone else have this happen to them?????
