Puller or cockerel

    I need to know of these are pullets or cockerels:)there 4 months old and sometimes fight with each other?does anyone know when they might start laying:)

    Hi there! The first one looks like a production red pullet and the second would appear to be an easter egger pullet. In fact, she almost looks like a twin to my hen:

    Hens usually start laying by six months of age.

    Yep, both pullets. Eggs still look a few months away from how small and pale their combs are.
