Pullet or Cockerel Silver Laced Wyandotte

Silver Laced Wyandotte’s I’m pretty sure I know this answer but I need to figure out pullet or cockerel soon. #4 has definite green sheen on black feathers, it even does in the pictures! At this point I think I have 2 of each but not 100%

They’re 8 weeks and one should be a Roo based on we had one that had short tail feathers for the first 4 weeks

Two have lots more white, two have mostly black feathering on their tails.

I agree. Wyandottes are very tricky. If you do some searches on BYC, you will see many people think they have the one gender and end up with the other. Also many examples where people have been told they have a cockerel only to find out later it was a pullet. Best to wait it out until they are at least 12-14 weeks old when saddle feathers start to come in. 😊
