Hey everyone. I got 2 birds that I'm highly suspicious that they are not true breeds nor they are pullets. They are about 10 weeks old. One is a SLW and the second one is a BR. I hope you all can help me figure this out. I bought them a local feed store. Thanks in advance!!! I hope they are pullets. I can't have roosters where I live. Thanks again.

Clues would be size difference if the chicken is unusually larger than one that you know is a hen there is a chance it's a roo. If the chicken is a bit more aggressive and acts learderish, comb development earlier than hens also wattle development, also if the chicken crows, and tail you can look up pictures between rooster and hen tail comparison.

After looking at SLW and BSL cockerel pics at age of 10 weeks old, my guys don't seem to have as much comb/wattles developed in comparison nor my SLW doesn't seem alike other pics of pullets at same age either. That's why it is confusing to me. Same goes for the BSL one. When should i expect them to be crowing?
