I posted a couple pics of this chick about a week ago and unanimous reply was Partridge Rock and possibly a cockerel. I have updated pics as of today. Chick will be 5 weeks old on Friday. Pullet, cockerel or too early to venture a guess? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It's still a bit too early to be sure, but looks like a pullet for now. Males usually feather in solid black on their chests.

I know it's not very pink yet but that comb is rather large and fleshy for 5 weeks old. I'm going with cockerel.

I agree; I'm leaning toward pullet on this one.

It is not extremely definitive, but I am guessing cockerel.

And just to keep things balanced, I'm thinking pullet [IMG]

I'm thinking pullet just because the comb doesn't scream cockerel at the moment
