I got a 5 month old australorp and i need help I.D.ing gender.
If that bird is really 5 months old it is a pullet! Don't see any pointed hackle or saddle feathers, and the comb and wattles are not overly large.
When she was a few days old she was really sick, almost didnt make it and she has always been really late getting feathers. Wasnt fully feathered until a few weeks after my other pullet. So would that effect anything?
i vote pullet
I am guessing pullet as well. Some birds are just slower to feather in then others.
If she's 5 months old then I would sat definitely a pullet.
