i have 6 cochins and 2 wyandottes (all bantams) that are now 4 weeks old. want to start getting an idea of which ones might be/might not be girls or boys.. that is, if there is even a way to tell yet. [IMG]

I would say that #1 and #7 are roos. That's my guess.

i'm not really sure, her parents were from a mixed color flock of frizzle cochins. I was going for the frizzles, but 3 of my 6 hatched out are straight feathered. i am new to chickens but i am thinking she's somewhere between partridge, buff, brown, and mille fleur. she's definitely unique i can tell you that!

some new photos, for *hopefully* some new feedback!

I know this first one is a roo.... theres no way he's not.... but i love him. and want to show him off. he loves being held and he loves coming over to chat with me. I just hope he doesn't turn into a loud crower otherwise I will have to get rid of him. I originally planned not to keep any roosters... [IMG]

my hunches so far are that 1, 5, 6, 8, and maybe 4 are roos... [IMG] maybe i should get some better close-ups of those ones... this weekend makes them 5 weeks old!
