He/she is starting to grow chest feathers. For the most part the chest is the salmon color but it has a few speckles of black. Not sure if the black on the chest is all black feathers on a male? It has good eyeliner and the v is strong but not straight. Also how do I add pictures?

Welcome to BYC! To post pictures you should see some boxes on top of where you are writing comments. One of the boxes looks like mountains with a dot in the left corner. If you click on this you can select a photo and post it. However I post from the mobile website, so if you post on the desktop version it might be different. :)

[IMG] this is the bird in question. I'll take some of the other when I get home from work to compare if needed. Thanks for the help!

Thanks. Is the chest on a pullet pure salmon color?

I don't know. I think it's a rooster because of the shape of it's head and the comb budding up. How old is it?

Be 4 weeks old on Thursday. My other welsummer comb isn't much smaller but the 2 definitely have their differences about to take some photos
