Hi!

I know brahmas are a slow maturing breed, but was wondering if anyone had any idea if these little ones are pullets or roosters? It seems I may have two roosters and one pullet, based on how they are developing differently. (One in back in first and second photo has almost no comb compared to other two little ones).

Thanks in advance!

How old are they? At this point I think you are right- 2 boys, 1 girl.

They’re still really young. They’re just about 2.5 months now lol, so yes I know it’s early to tell (especially for brahmas). But I do feel like they have some of the defining qualities for roosters. We have another Brahma (pullet) who is about 4 months and she didn’t get a comb like these two little ones at all. So figured I would try to see if anyone knew. :)

It's the right age to give a go at sexing them. Male sex feathers won't show at that age. It's mainly the combs and legs we look at. Red combs usually mean male, and thicker legs usually mean male. In this case, you have three of the same age together, and it is pretty easy to tell the difference between the 2 likely cockerels and the pullet. You could try again in 2 or 3 weeks to be certain if there are still questions.
