Hey Guys! hope everybody is doing great. I have pullet 6 months old. she had imapcted crop 2 weeks ago, i waited for to digest whatever is inside her stomach but she didnt digest for 4 days then i had to to surgery on her crop and took out all the food and stitched her just fine. she was recovering from that but suddenly her legs stopped working. I gave her 2 shots of B12 injection but she didnt show any signs of improvement. Its been a week she is unable to walk. Anybody????

Welcome to BYC. Could she be dehydrated or weak from not eating and drinking enough? Instead of B12 injections, I would put some poultry vitamins in her water, or get some Poultry Cell vitamins, and give her 2-3 ml orally each day. She could have a vitamin deficiency, so make sure there is riboflavin in the poultry vitamins, or you can also use human BComplex, but a balanced vitamin or vitamin with trace minerals would be best. Do you know if she was vaccinated for Mareks disease? I would guess that it is somehow related to her recovery from crop surgery, but Mareks can strike at that age. It usually causes a loss of balance using wings to help in getting around, and there can be paralysis of one or both legs or wings, and sometimes the neck can be affected. Here is a good link about Mareks:

Hey! thanks for your response. I didn't vaccine her for Marek's but i did for ND. I am giving her long list of vitamins in water, she was lil well when i pushed her from the back, she did get up lil bit. but i am not pushing her too much. Her poops are just fine, eating and drinking very well.
