pullet?

    ok...what the heck does it mean if it's a pullet? is that just a hen?

    A pullet is a female chicken under 1 yr. of age.

    You'll learn olots here. Pullet is a female hen under 1 year old. She may be laying already (20 plus weeks old or older) but still under the 1 year mark. A cockerel is a male under 1 year old, then is called a rooster after that. Confusing at first, but the lingo comes soon. Enjoy the boards.
