I have five pullets, all different kinds, a rhode island red, production red, Buff orphington, black sex link, and a silver laced wyandott all bought together as chicks. At the same time I bought a ameracuna pullet that turned out to be a cockerel. They are all living together in the same fenced in yard and coop. No eggs yet. The ameracuna was starting to act gererally aggressive. Just yesterday I found the ameracuna dead and pretty well torn apart in the coop. The pullets evidently did it. Ever heard of this happening? This is my 3rd year having chickens, and this is a first! I'm actually glad it happened because the ameracuna was becoming a real jerk.

Is this a strange happening?

wow I guess they were not having it. It is also possible he got something or died and they picked on him afterwards. saves you the trouble of freezer camp.

ETA by the way WELCOME!!!
