I was told these two were pullets, but because one of my last three "pullets" ended up being a cockerel, I'm hesitant to trust I really have pullets this time around!
I've had them going on two weeks, and when I got them I was told they were 10-12 weeks (so today, 11.5 to 13.5 weeks). But I estimate at least the one might possibly be up to a few weeks younger based on pics I've seen of other speckled sussex chickens (I'm no expert though!).
    Any help appreciated!
And yes they are inside... they came to me with coccidia, got better, and now I have to learn how to harden them off again so they can go back to their coop. :)

They look closer to 8 to 10 weeks old, and so far, they both look like pullets.

Whew! I feel relieved. My accidental roo is getting louder by the day, I'm not having luck rehoming him and although roos aren't technically illegal I'm just waiting for my neighbors to start complaining...but fingers crossed they don't! Good to know so far this doesn't appear like it'll be a repeat situation! :)
