pullets still giving me weird eggs

Now that I am at good production I notice that some pullets will still give me a double yolk and the other day, a shellless egg. They've been laying for a few weeks. Are they okay?

Yes they are fine, Sometimes they lay odd eggs for awhile. Make sure they are getting enough calcium though and you are feeding a layer feed now that they are laying. Crushed oyster shells are not a bad idea.

yep they eat (purina) Layena Plus Omega 3 they call it. they used to have those calcium bumps on the shell now not so much. i have some oyester shells lying around from when they were babies. they loved it so ill toss a pile in the run. thanks.
