The organization for which I work is coordinating a Community Pumpkin Patch and I have been up to my eyebrows in pumpkins this month. Love it! A friend sent me this unusual pumpkin recipe:

3 tsp pumpkin puree (ya gotta cook it!)
    1 tsp honey
    1/2 tsp milk

Mix together. Apply to face and relax for 10 minutes. Rinse and apply an appropriate moisturizer.

My daughter and I tried this and loved it, but thought it was a little watery. We also used it on our hands. No fingernail staining, for those who worry about that stuff. Just nice soft hands! Instead of just putting it on hands and leaving it, make like you're wringing your hands for a few minutes. The mixture will turn very silky and you won't believe how nice your hands feel!

I guess the fruit acids really do their thing, and honey is a humectant and the milk moisturizes, too...I just love this!

And I'm getting a partial load of pumpkins Saturday, so you can tell the patch is doing well! YAY pumpkins!

I think I'll try that. [IMG] I need all the help I can get.
