I know they can contract illnesess, but at their age, they are still covered by their mom's colostrum/ Passive Immunity. They are covered more now, then at what they will be at 6 weeks when they get their shots (immunity from mother fades) . We had Bella checked and she has a high antibody titer. (The young will then possess higher levels of protection for longer periods of time against the diseases that the mother has immunity against such as canine distemper, canine parvovirus, and canine coronavirus.)
Yes, there was a heat lamp. He had a malformed heart, couldnt be saved.
