Pure RIR Pictures please

Hi, I am just wondering if my RIR are pure breed or not, would you please post some pictures.

Look like hatchery RIR's to me. Heritage rir's are alot darker red from what I've seen. Look like happy birds anyway.

No, the Rhode Island Red is more of a plum color. From a distance they look almost black.

yeah, the one behind the BR looks loke one, but the others have the NH red color

Looks like all of the RIR's I have ever seen, except for my uncle's. He claims his are RIR's. The body on his look like a RIR, but they are darker. I think his are probaly some kind of sex link.

They look like production RIR (hatchery birds). I have a small flock of the production RIR from Ideal Poultry and they are not as richly colored as the Heritage birds. Also, they have been bred strictly for egg production so you lose some of the RIR features of body type and color.

This is one of my RIR's. Looks like the one my grandma raised 40 years ago. My uncle says his is "heritage". I dont know what that means, but his are brown. They dont look like RIR's to me.
