My Non-medicated feed was less than a month old and powdery. Like Hobbits Mommie said it may have been the end of production run (bottom of the barrel). As long as it's fresh, and dosen't have a strong or moldy smell it's probably Okay to feed. I let my feeders get nearly empty monthly and clean. I use the powder at the bottom of the feeder or bag, by wetting to make a mash. My girls love it. . GCThis one is medicated and powdery
That's normal. Shipping can cause crumbles and pellets to break apart. GCI had a 50# bag of layena pellets the same way had about 5 # of dust in it.
