Runt got here early Wednesday morning and moved right in. He's a handsome boy, although not really a runt in terms of a Silkie. He wasted no time making himself at home, with mixed emotions from the girls.

Miss Cuckoo fell instantly in love.

Coco was a bit unsettled. She's still adjusting to her new roomies.

Cotton was indifferent. Roos have come and go.

Stella was resentful. She has silkie in her, but no fluff. And no neck feathers. She took a beakful of Runt's off the top.

Twister, the twisted neck Blue Jersey roo took one look at him and went "Pffffttt. Not worth my attention."

There hasn't been any uproar in the pen, and Runt is playing it cool for now. He's pretty confident he'll win the other girls over in no time. PC's boy is a real gentleman so I'm certain he'll win them over with his charm and good looks.

Runt kissing the ground. He didn't like flying that high.

Quote:Yep, she's called a cuckoo. It's a fairly new color. I'm hoping to produce some little barred babies myself. I needed PC's lovely boy to make it happen. He's a really nice bird, with a perfect walnut comb.

Runt, also known as Black, is quite the ladies man. His head feathers are
new since someone beat him up a few months ago.

I'm so happy he has a great new owner and a harem of ladies. [IMG]

I'm looking forward to some eggs from those girls.

OK I thought it was cuckoo but then I over thought it! She's purdy!
