Purple silkies?

I was looking at the evil silkie contest pics, and I saw a dark purple one. Was that one dyed or do they come in purple?????

They dont come in purple, Im guessing it was dyed with dark purple food coloring.

Is using food coloring on silkies okay? I know there's a big deal about not dyeing chicks. They sell dyed chicks and someetimes the dye makes them ill.

Yup Koolaid is the way to go... They really do change once they have been colored. They know they are pretty and flaunt it.
