Pus pocket under eye and on nostril

Hello, I have a roughly 8 week old Cochin that has these two growths, they started a few weeks ago and we were doing warm compresses and vetrx, it’s been suggested as fowl pox but that doesn’t match what’s happening here. Can’t anyone offer insight on what might be going on and how to fix it? Obviously hard to get a photo of, the chick doesn’t stop moving. Currently lives inside, gets fresh food and water daily, has been given tylan before but not recently.

No I’ve tried it doesn’t move at all, it’s hard. I saw somewhere that rubbing mineral oil could help work that out?

Chicken pus is semi-solid, sometimes it can be pressed out, otherwise it would need to be lanced. It will not dry up on its own, nor will an antibiotic dry it up. If you have vet care, that would be best.

Thank you, I will try to see if we can work it out, hopefully it comes out without needing lanced.
