Put chicks in coop today

Finished securing the coop with hardware cloth and the chicks are out there now. Going to have light on at night for them but temps here are only going down to upper 60s at night so im thinking in a week they won't need it anymore.

How old are they if they are fully feathered with lowes only in the 60s they may not need a heat light

How old are your chicks? Ours are 4 weeks today and have not been put out as yet. Have taken heat lamp away since temps are in the low 70's at night here..

4 weeks old the lamp is just to be sure and to give them some comfort adjusting to there new home for a few days
