Okay so my little little babies are gonna be 2 weeks this weekend. I've been putting their brooder box outside during the day. I'm in nc so it's plenty warm enough. But I'm curious as to how I'll know if they get over heated and what I should do. I know some tricks that I use with my older birds but not sure if I can do the same with these little guys. I do have them in a spot where they have half sun and half shade and water in the shaded part. And if it gets too too hot I bring them inside so they won't over heat. Am I doing the right things and is there anything else I could be doing? Thank in advance!

Edit to add: there are 2 babies and they're in a 50 gal storage tote (what I use for brooder) it's almost 43"l x 22"w x 18" tall

Sounds good - just make sure to keep moving it if needed as the sun moves across the sky, so they always have a good amount of shade available to use. If you see any signs of heat issues (panting, holding wings away from body) take them back in.
