Putting chicks under broody

I just got some new chicks today from a breeder my question is i have a maran that went broody. She has been that way about 3 days. She has raised chicks before and was a great mother but last time she was broody about 2 weeks before i gave her chicks. Do you think it would be too soon to give her some only being broody a few days?

Could be, Might work, Might not. Nothing wrong with trying, but a good chance she will attack/kill them. If you try----you will need to give them to her at night and be there when it starts breaking day watching to see what she does. if she tries to peck them----rescue them quickly.
