How do you go about it? She will be in the cat run I can turn the dog cage I used as a brooder into a nesting area for her. The cat run is covered so no rain and the fencing is sitting on concerts slabs all round so no way for a fox to get in. Do I still feed her layers pellets and once the hatch do you start with chick crumb and go onto growers pellets? What breed would you suggest?

Your location sounds OK. What I did and not to say it was right. I fed her with her regular food after the hatch I mixed chick grower with it.
