Looking for a loving home for a beautiful 10 week old Rhode Island Red rooster named Jessie. We live in Puyallup and unfortunately we are unable to keep this bird. He is very docile and doesn’t mind being held. We received 2 reds and 2 bared rock 1 day old chicks in March, but unfortunately one of the reds was a boy as he started to crow last week, and living in the city limits of Puyallup we are unable to keep the rooster.
I would be willing to meet or drive Jessie anywhere between Everett and Olympia in order for him to go to a good home. It’s my 6 ½ year old son’s favorite chicken so parting with him is going to be tough, but if we know he’ll go to a good home hopefully it will not be too sad.
