PVC pipe chicken tractor?

I'd be careful drilling holes and driving screws into PVC...same goes with attaching a wooden nest, the weight could be a factor.

First would need to know, what size diameter of PVC?

You might want to bump up to 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" PVC for the actual area your gonna attach the nesting boxes ... then use a "T" to build out a horizontal stub to rest the wooden nesting box on, then use clamps to secure it to the pipe ...

Some people use plastic buckets, dish pans, or milk crates ...

You can get adapters to go from 3/4" pvc, up ... to what ever size you settle on ... schedule 40 pipe has much thicker, and stronger walls than schedule 20 ...

Depending on final weight ... and how windy it is in your part of TX ... you might need to figure out an anchor system to keep it from flying away!
