quail broodiness?

    are quails broody all of the time like pigeons
    or do they take it in cycles?

    Most quails are not broodie. I do have a couple and so dose BQH not sure but think there are others on here that do to. But no not anything like pigeons

    The only quail that will brood are the buttons, coturnix don't normally, and neither do any other species I know of. Buttons don't normally either, but some have gotten lucky!
