    A standard egg turner.....
Do I put cotton in the egg cup to help keep the quail eggs a bit stable if I haven't purchased an actual egg turner specific for the smaller eggs???

I usually cut out the cups from a carton and stick them in there...that way I can fit 2 quail eggs (or 4 Button eggs) in one holder and not take up as much room. [IMG]

ahhh OK so then the good news is that the cotton will not suck up too much of the humidity? I am figuring that I'll need a little extra humidity just from the added porous material...

I don't use cotton, but you will probably have to add more water than normal if you do.

What kind of eggs do you have? The only eggs I have done that didn't fit in the chicken cups were button quail eggs. They fall right through!
