Quail enclosure Roof material

Can’t decide what material to use for my outdoor walk-in quail enclosure.... it has a hardware cloth on top, but need something to keep the large vine plant over it from dropping crap all in it and it’s brown runoff moisture , as well as protect from any possible rain... “possible “... as I’m in California and that is just a rare occurrence ... I was thinking the corrugated roof panels or just a tarp pinned under the vine itself? What suggestions ya got???? And what options would not make it heat up underneath (already 100 here the past few days).

I've liked working with corrugated plastic panels—Suntuf specifically. It comes in different opacities, is lightweight but strong, cleans well, and isn't as sharp as corrugated metal. Just make sure to use closure strips and the recommended screws/washers to improve the longevity and water-tightness of the installation.
