I was wondering how often you need to worm quail. I have my breeding trios in a raised pen, but I planned on putting my new hatches in a tractor to grow them out. I would butcher at 7 weeks. Would they need to be wormed then?

The ones you butcher should probably not be wormed. (Cornish Cross seem to be at the same butcher age yet no one in our county worms them) But the ones you keep to breed if you feel like they need it then worm them. You worm chickens twice a year at least and maybe that would work for quail

If your confident that you can keep them from getting out it might be better. But most broilers I raised I did it in a chicken Tractor or a broiler house.
