quail?

    I got these little babies - I was told they are quail but I cannot find any pictures online to tell me what type they are? Are these quail or a bantam chicken?

    they look like a "quail" colored bantam chicken, im guessing old english game bantams. of course i could be wrong.

    I think there might have been a misunderstanding somewheres. Those are chickens. Did they say Quail D'ANVERS? Quail is also a color of chicken.

    I am fairly positive you have Quail D'anvers. This is a pic. of what they should look like.

    I am also thinking the chick looking straight at the camera is probably a rooster.

    I agree, they're chickens, not quail. Quail colored chickens....I can see how that would get confusing. There's also partridge colored chickens. We need a peacock colored chicken!
