Hello everyone. I recently built a 8x8 by 6 ft tall aviary rather large. Now im looking to put plants both inside and outside around the aviary. Which flowers and veggies recommended?

G’Day from down under aviaryP [IMG] Welcome!

Sorry that I am not able to help with the plant suggestions but N F C has given you a great starting point.

I just wanted to say that I hope you enjoy BYC; not only is it overflowing with lots of useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures about chickens, turkeys, duck, quail, Peas and pretty much any other feathered and non feathered friends [IMG]

Welcome to Backyard chickens. You may want to run your questions past the "Quail thread," folks, and also "The cage birds thread." There may also be information if you put "Aviaries." in the search box. I know some folks have posted photos of the actual aviaries and discussed what breeds they combine, plants, etc.
