Quarantine baby chicks from new baby chicks??

Do I need to quarantine if I add 4 less than week old chicks to my current 2 less than week old chicks? One of the local hatcheries said I had to but most people on here are saying it's fine to mix them. What do you think, and if quarantine is needed then how long?

It should be fine to put them together.

The younger the bird, the less likely it is to be a vector for disease. Of course that also depends on where you're sourcing them from (the big hatcheries are very tight on biosecurity, whereas a casual backyard breeder may not be at all).
