I had a little chick hatch this morning, it is crossed between an EE rooster & a pure black Ameraucana hen.
The chick is pure black with a light colored chest. The Roo it came from is a Partridge/Wheaten colored.
Since the chick is pure black (very dark legs as well) & doesn't have the normal chipmunk look like most EE's have does that possibly mean it could be a pullet? I'm still learning about genetics its a lot too learn.
